What is a Trust Score?
A Trust Score is a summary, out of 100, that Khaya Connect is designed to work out from a worker's KhayaHR records and how they use their profile. It is one signal among several, never a verdict on a person.
You will not see a Trust Score on Khaya Connect today.
The public Khaya Connect site does not show Trust Scores, and the calculation does not yet run on a schedule. Choose a worker on what their profile shows you, on their references, and on meeting them.
What a Trust Score is designed to take into account
- Payroll history on KhayaHR — how many months of locked payslips, and from how many employers
- Disciplinary warnings recorded on KhayaHR
- Whether KhayaHR has completed its identity-document review
- Recommendations left on the profile — how many, and their rating
- How the worker responds to enquiries, and how recently they were active
- How complete the profile is
It is not a government-record, criminal or reference check, and it never stands in for meeting a worker, speaking to their references, or making your own judgement.
What you can rely on today
Reviewed and approved
Every live profile has passed KhayaHR’s identity-document review and admin approval before it appears.
References on show
Past employers’ recommendations are visible on the profile, for you to weigh up yourself.
Private until they accept
A worker’s contact details are shared only once they accept your enquiry.
Keep proper employment records
Every payslip you lock in KhayaHR becomes part of that employee's employment record on KhayaHR — kept, and theirs to see in their own portal.
