In short

Like or follow the KhayaHR Facebook Page, then comment on the competition post with the type of work you are looking for and the area you are in. That is the whole entry. Sharing the post is optional and does not give you an extra entry. No purchase is required, and you do not need a verified Khaya Connect profile to enter or to win.

1. Promoter

This promotional competition is run by KhayaHR (the “Promoter”, “we”, “us”). It is referred to in these rules as the “Competition”.

You can reach us about the Competition by email at support@khayahr.co.za or on WhatsApp at +27 78 380 6410. These are the only official support channels for the Competition.

2. Competition period

  • Entries open on 17 August 2026 at 00:00 (SAST).
  • Entries close on 30 August 2026 at 23:59 (SAST).
  • The draw takes place on 31 August 2026.

All times are South African Standard Time (SAST). Entries received before the opening time or after the closing time are not valid entries.

3. Who may enter

The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

Directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of the Promoter, of its marketing service providers and advertising agencies, and their immediate family members, may not enter. The person who oversees and certifies the draw, and their immediate family members, may not enter either.

4. How to enter

To enter, do both of the following during the Competition period:

  1. Like or follow the official KhayaHR Facebook Page.
  2. Comment on the official Competition post with the type of work you are looking for and the area in which you are located.

One valid entry per person. Where a person enters more than once, only the first valid entry is counted.

No purchase is required to enter or to win. You do not need a KhayaHR account, and a verified Khaya Connect profile is not required to enter or to win. Standard data or network charges from your own mobile provider may apply to use Facebook, and we do not receive any part of them.

5. Sharing and tagging are optional

Sharing the Competition post is optional. It is not an entry requirement and it does not constitute or provide an additional entry.

Tagging another person is not required to enter, and does not improve anyone’s chance of winning. You are welcome to share or tag if you want to — it simply makes no difference to the draw.

6. The prize

The prize is one R300 airtime voucher, or a direct R300 airtime recharge, for a supported South African mobile network. There is one prize and one winner.

The prize is not transferable and is not exchangeable for cash. Whether the prize is delivered as a voucher or as a direct recharge is decided by the Promoter, based on what the winner’s network supports.

7. How the winner is selected

The winner is selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the Competition period. The draw takes place on 31 August 2026.

The draw is overseen and certified by an independent accountant, registered auditor, attorney or advocate, whose decision on the conduct of the draw is final.

8. Contacting and verifying the winner

We contact the winner through the official KhayaHR Facebook Page — by replying to the winning comment, by direct message, or both.

The winner has 72 hours from the time we first make contact to respond and to confirm the details we need to deliver the prize. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, or does not meet the entry requirements in these rules, the Promoter may draw another winner from the remaining valid entries.

Before the prize is released we confirm that the winner meets the eligibility requirements in section 3, and we confirm the mobile number the airtime should go to.

9. We will never ask you for payment or a PIN

KhayaHR will never ask a winner for a payment, a fee, a password, a banking PIN or a one-time PIN (OTP) to release the prize.

If anyone asks you for any of those in connection with this Competition, it is not us. Do not send it. Report it to us at support@khayahr.co.za or on WhatsApp at +27 78 380 6410.

10. Your personal information

To run the Competition we process the information contained in your entry — your Facebook profile name, your comment, and the type of work and area you give us — and, if you win, the contact details and mobile number needed to deliver the prize.

We use that information to administer this Competition and to deliver the prize, and for no other purpose unless you separately choose it. We do not sell your information. We keep entry records only for as long as we need them to run the Competition, deal with any query about it, and meet our legal obligations.

Your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) are not affected by entering: you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@khayahr.co.za. Asking us to delete your entry before the draw means it can no longer be counted.

Facebook processes your comment and your interaction with the Page under its own terms and privacy policy, which are not ours and which we do not control.

11. Publicity is optional

We would like to announce the winner on the official KhayaHR Facebook Page. If you win, we will ask you first.

You may decline publicity without losing the prize. You are not required to take part in any photograph, video, interview or announcement, and you receive the prize either way.

12. Facebook and Meta

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta.

By entering, you release Facebook and Meta from any and all liability arising from or in connection with this Competition. Any questions, comments or complaints about the Competition must be directed to KhayaHR — not to Facebook or Meta.

13. General

This Competition is a promotional competition conducted in accordance with section 36 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and its regulations. Nothing in these rules limits, excludes or waives any right you have under that Act, and where anything in these rules conflicts with it, the Act applies.

You may ask us for a copy of these rules at any time and we will provide it free of charge. They are also published on this page for the duration of the Competition and afterwards.

The Promoter may disqualify an entry that is fraudulent, automated, duplicated, or that breaches these rules or Facebook’s own terms. The Promoter may cancel, suspend or amend the Competition where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make that necessary; if we do, we will say so on the official KhayaHR Facebook Page and on this page.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for entries that Facebook does not deliver or display, or for network, device or connectivity failures outside its control.

These rules are governed by South African law.

14. Questions

If anything here is unclear, ask us before you enter — we would much rather answer a question than have somebody miss out on a technicality.
